Presentation of the work
In 1996 Etienne Perruchon composed his first songs in Dogorian, an imaginary language he invented. In 2000 he created Dogora, a popular masterpiece for mixed choir, children's choir and orchestra, that was inspired by his Dogorian songs. In 2004 French director Patrice Leconte used the work to make a musical, impressionist and human film, « Dogora, open your eyes », and concerts started to be scheduled throughout France. Thanks to the concerts thousands of spectators and choir singers have discovered the emotional power of Dogora.
